Port Forwarding Questions

Q. Why can't I use port forwarding in medium firewall?

A. When the IT-100's Firewall is set to Medium Security, all ports except those allowed by default are closed. To enable Port Forwarding for a particular port, you must open the port you want to forward on the firewall. To do this, you must go to your Advanced Firewall Settings in CoreVista Web and create the particular port in the Services section. Then you have to add the new rule in the Rules section of Advanced Firewall. Afterward, you will be able to forward the desired port.
