RADIUS RADIUS stands for Remote Authentication Dial In User Service. RADIUS allows remote access servers to communicate with a central authentication server so that users dialing into the network from outside must provide proper credentials before being allowed access. These credentials are usually a username and password. RADIUS also controls which resources an authenticated user can access based on their user profile in its database. RADIUS can be enabled on the IT-100 to provide secure authentication of users to the wireless network.
