Q. Why do my web pages on the IT-100 fail to update after I upload new information using FTP?

A. You may be looking at a "cached" web page. This is web page information that is stored on your computer in cache memory. You are seeing an old page on your computer rather than the updated page information on the IT-100. To update the information either click the refresh or reload button on your browser or press the F5 control key on your keyboard. You should see the updated page.

Q. What folder on the IT-100 should I use to upload my web page information?

A. You should use the www folder for each domain hosted on the IT-100. Website files such as Adobe Golive!, PHP and HTML are supported.

Q. Why is there always one more user listed on the FTP Summary page than the number of users I authorized to access FTP on the Users main page in CoreVista Web?

A. The IT-100 comes with a built-in manager user by default. This user must exist on the IT-100 for you to log in and configure the device for the first time. Since the profile of the built-in manager account cannot be accessed or modified, the manager account is not listed with the other users on the Users main page. However, since the manager account has access to all services on the IT-100, the FTP summary page counts the manager user along with the other users you created and authorized to use FTP.
