HOW TOs: FTP

FTP or File Transfer Protocol is a method of transferring files to and from the IT-100. It is the most common method of uploading webpage files to the Web Server on the IT-100 after you write them on a computer. You can use FTP to upload and store files on the IT-100 over the Internet and also to download stored files from the IT-100 to your computer. You must enable and configure FTP on the IT-100. Also, when you create a user, if you want them to be able to use the FTP service, you must specify that they have access to this feature. See the HOW TOs: Users for more information about configuring Users to access services.
