How To Create Appointments in Webmail's Calendar

The webmail program on the IT-100 includes a calendar
feature that allows you to create and organize your appointments
and events. Since the calendar
is webmail based, your appointments
are accessible from any
computer on your network
or any computer with Internet
access. Creating and managing events is easy in webmail. Here's how you
get started.
Login to webmail.
Click Calendar
in the overhead menu at the top
of the page.
Click the date
for which you want to set an appointment.
The calendar will show you the Day
View for the date you selected.
NOTE:
By default, the hours displayed
range from 07:00 (7 A.M.) to 22:00 (10 P.M.).
Locate the hour
when you want to set the appointment and click ADD
on the right-hand side for that hour.
The Set Event
page appears.
NOTE:
You can use the Start time drop down
menus to adjust the hour and minute entries for your appointment.
For example, if you clicked ADD
for 08:00 and your
appointment is actually at 08:30,
you can click the minutes drop
down arrow and change the selection
from 00 to
30. You can also use these menus to select any
hour in a 24 hour period,
overriding the defaults.
Set the exact start time for the appoint using
the Start time drop down menus
for hours and minutes.
Use the Length
drop down menu to set the length of the appointment. You can set the length
in a range from 0 minutes to 6 hours.
Use the Priority
drop down menu and select either Normal
or High.
In the Title
field, type a name for the appointment
such as Staff Meeting or Dentist appointment.
You can use the
larger area below to type a description
of the appointment or any notes
you want associated with this event.
When you are done, click the Set
Event button.
To go to the current date and see your
appointments for today, click the Day
View link. To select another day
or see the entire month, click the Month
View link.
Repeat
this process to create other appointments on different days of the current
month.
NOTE:
Near the top of the calendar in
Month View are links to the previous and subsequent
month. There are also links to
the previous and subsequent
year. At the bottom left-hand corner of the calendar are year and month
drop down menus. Just select the year and month you want to view and click
the Go button.
