How To Create Custom Folders in Webmail

The SquirrelMail software used
for webmail on the IT-100
is configured by default to offer
the INBOX as the main
folder and the Draft, Sent, and Trash
folders as subfolders located
under INBOX. Many people want
to be able to store emails on
different subjects in separate folders
rather than store them all in the INBOX. Creating customized
folders in webmail is a snap. Here's how you get started.
Login to webmail.
Click Folders
in the overhead menu.
To create a folder as a subfolder of INBOX, leave
the drop down menu at the INBOX default.
Type the name of the subfolder in the as
a subfolder of field.
Click the Create
button.
Click the refresh
folder list link just under the message.
The new folder
will appear in the left-hand folder list.
NOTE:
While the default folders appear as a dull
red color, any custom folders you create appear in black
text.
You can now click on
INBOX or any other folder
in the left-hand menu and manage your emails. You can repeat
this process to create all of the folders you will need for organizing
your emails.
