How To Determine DHCP IP Address Assignments on the IT-100

When you configure the IT-100 with Dynamic Pools and Static IP Address Assignments, you must know how IP addresses in each of your network interfaces is distributed. The IT-100 provides a very easy way to make this determination at a glance. To see the IP address distribution on the IT-100:

  1. Go to CoreVista Web

  2. Click DHCP in the left-hand sidebar menu

  • The main DHCP page appears

  • Note: on this page you can review the distribution of IP addresses on the WAN, LAN, and Wireless interfaces by Blank Address Space, Dynamic Pools, and Static IPs

  • Blank Address Space: any white space in the display for any interface represents the range of available IP addresses

  • Dynamic Pools: any blue space in the display for any interface represents the range of configured dynamic pools

  • Static IPs: any orange space in the display for any interface represents the range of configured static IP assignments

  • Note: VPN Pools are not shown on this page. Please verify the existence and range of any VPN Pools you might have configured on the IT-100 before changing IP addressing assignments. See How To Create a VPN Connection Using PPTP for more information
