How To Configure Email Antivirus Scanning

To configure email antivirus scanning:

 

  1. Go to CoreVista Web

  2. Click Antivirus on the left-hand sidebar menu

  3. Click Email under the Antivirus folder in the menu

  • The Antivirus Email Settings page appears

  1. Click Enabled in the Email Antivirus Settings box to enable email antivirus scanning

  • or

  1. Click Disable in the Email Antivirus Settings box to disable email antivirus scanning

  2. Click View to view any infected mail in quarantine

  3. Check the CC Original Recipient check box to send a copy of the text content of an infected email to the person it was originally addressed to

  4. Check the CC Additional check box to send a copy of the text content of the infected email to another email address besides the original recipient

  5. Type the email address of whoever you want to receive an additional copy in the field below the CC Additional check box

  6. Click UPDATE

  • Your configuration changes are enabled and saved
