How To Configure Antivirus Definitions to Auto Update

The virus definitions of the
Antivirus program on the IT-100 need
to be updated frequently in order to detect the latest virus threats
on the Internet. Any antivirus program detects
viruses based on the definitions or characteristics of the virus.
Antivirus companies analyze known viruses and write the definitions so
that antivirus programs such as the one on the IT-100 can detect threats.
This is an ongoing process as more viruses are being written and released
on the Internet. In order for your IT-100 to detect current viruses, the
virus definitions must be kept up to
date. You can manually trigger
a virus definition update as well as configure
the IT-100 to automatically download definitions on a regular basis.
